The Presque Isle Police Department is located at 43 North St, Suite #2, Presque Isle, Maine. The Public Safety Building lobby is open 24/7, 7 days per week; Monday - Friday 8 A.M - 4 P.M for business hours only and excluding holidays. Presque Isle Police Department patrols approximately 78 square miles of urban and rural area with US Route 1 running through the heart of the city. The Presque Isle Police Department is staffed currently by 17 law enforcement officers, with 14 being assigned to patrol duties, 4 Full Time Dispatchers, and 3 to administrative duties. Presque Isle Police Department has several officers assigned to specialty units to include firearms instructor, taser instructor, police training officer, drug recognition expert, crash reconstructionist, academy classroom instructor, use of force instructor, crisis intervention team, crime scene investigators, detective division, K-9 Division, and more.
